FOLDING IN was built on the ashes of burnt bridges, broken promises, and regrets. Beginning in the year 2007 in the small Town of Kennewick ,Wa Tyler Norman, Paul Nims, Frank Teagle, and Trapper Harding would give life to a Melodic type rock band soon to change ALL of what that genre and the world has yet to see. Folding In came onto a scene that was saturated with indie rock, Punk, and Metal was all there was in the tri cities. With a new sound of melodic type rock influenced by the likes of chevelle and the such, with strangely organized song structures, illustrative lyrics, and off beat time signatures immediately caught the attention of larger and larger crowds.
The foundation of the music is rooted in melancholy and bears the fruit of sorrow. "Unfortunatly all these songs were written amid conflict and sadness, much to my regret" -says Norman (singer). This is a very in-depth look at a soul burdended with the consequenses of bad choices. Hopefully one day the ashes and melancholy will turn to stone and soil...and will bear the fruit of contentment.
The bands debut album is being recorded right with a release date in winter this year of 2007 on pure american ugly records.
