Tragedy Within comes to you from Central Washingtion, with their heart felt lyrics, melodic vocals, guitar solos and drum beats that will keep you asking for more!!!

TW started out with 4 freshman guys Shane Clark, Kody Pitner, Chuck Smith and Josh Nidiffer who just decided one day that they wanted to start a band. Undecided on who would be the singer, Chuck Smith stepped up and learned how to sing and play guitar at the same time. As time went on TW lost a couple of members. First to quit the band was drummer, Kody Pitner which took a toll on the band being able to play shows. Little did they know that they would end up with one of the best drummers in Yakima, Jeff kelley. Jeff brought a whole new sound to TW and made it alot easier for Chuck to write songs. The second member to quit TW was Bass player, Josh Nidiffer but there might still be some possibilities of him playing in the band again. Even though they lost their Bass player, Shane picked up the bass and TW kept playing shows. At this time they still remain a 3-piece band.

TW gets most of their influence from Blink 182. With the Pop Punk sound, amazing feel and an awesome mix of some screams and punk definately moves you. They have been together for a year and a half. Playing numorous shows starting with Project Independent out of L.A., at the Zone in Yakima Washington, in May of 2006. They took 3rd place in The Battle Of The Bands at the Central Washington State Fair in October of 2006. They have played at clubs, schools, private parties, and community functions. Their talent really comes through in live performances. Their first album, 12 Miles To Nowhere, will be out in the Spring of 2008.
